TANGSA BAPTIST CHURCHES ASSOCIATION
MISSION CENTRE NONGTHAM
ARUNACHAL PRADESH

PREAMBLE

We Tangsa Baptist members of Arunachal Pradesh solemnly resolve ourselves unanimously to form and constitute all the Tangsa Baptist Churches into one single body herein after the profess, preserve, and secure principles of Christian faith and practices and to govern in an orderly manner for relationship and cooperation in promoting Christian work unitedly in and outside of Arunachal Pradesh in obedience to the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 28:19-20, do hereby give ourselves and our allegiances to this Constitution.

Article-I: Name & Title: The name of the Society shall be called as “Tangsa Baptist Churches Association” (TBCA) in Tangsa, “Tangsa Baptist Nokuq Mungthung”, herein after referred to as TBCA or TBNM.

Article-II: Motto: The motto of the Tangsa Baptist Churches Association shall be “Faith, Unity, and Service”. The Logo shall be a circle in which an open Bible, a cross and two slanting lines.

Article-III: Jurisdiction: The area of jurisdiction of the TBCA shall cover Changlang District, Tinsukia District of Upper Assam and whole of Arunachal Pradesh and may extend to union of India.

Article-IV: Aims and Objectives: The main aim of the TBCA shall be to unite the churches for the following objectives:

1. To communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
2. To strengthen the member churches.
3. To foster the spiritual foundation for good citizenship and management of Biblical trainings and promote fellowship among member churches.
4. To cooperate with other Christian organization of bodies with similar aims at regional level, national level and at international level for upliftment of humankind.
5. To maintain concern for the problem that divides humankind and improves Development of human potentials such as, poverty, ignorance, illiteracy, diseases, social injustice, and social evils.
6. To develop social and humanitarian services irrespective of caste, color, creed and culture such as relief programs, training, institutions, literacy programs, hospitals and domestic health services.

 Article-V: Statement of Faith

1. The Holy Bible is infallible and authentic in all matters of Christian faith and conduct.
2. Holy Trinity, three persons in one God head.
3. Virgin Birth, Atonement through the blood on the Cross, resurrection and personal return of Lord Jesus in glory.
4. Salvation through faith alone and regeneration of the Holy Spirit in personal life.
5. Believer’s baptism by full immersion in all normal cases.
6. Obedience to commission of Lord Jesus as mentioned in Matthew 28:19-20.
